Sunday, August 17, 2008 at 05:49PM Bucephalus was Alexander the Great's horse and as legendary as his master.

The name Bucephalus means 'ox-head' and he died of battle wounds in 326B.C in Alexander's last battle. Alexander founded the city of Bucephala (The modern town of Jhelum, Pakistan) in memory of the most famous stallion of ancient times.
Bucephalus was black with a white star on his forehead. He had one blue eye, a characteristic found in certain dog breeds such as the Harlequin Great Dane ( Deutsche Dogge).
Alexander had trained the stallion by keeping him facing the sun since Bucephalus was scared of his own shadow.About Rumi: ( Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi)

Sunday, August 17, 2008 at 05:15PM Though every way I try
His whim to satisfy,
His every answering word
Is a pointed sword.
See how the blood drips
From His finger-tips;
Why does He find it good
To wash in my blood?
